Anne was born and raised in San Bruno. Her father, Bob Marshall, Sr., founded Marshall Realty in 1959. Anne is now a Realtor at Omarshall, Inc., and 55 years later, Omarshall, Inc. remains a successful, independent, family-owned business that prides itself on personal service to its clients. Anne has worked in the real estate business her entire career, earning her real estate license in 1986 and earning her Brokers license in 2003.
Anne lives in Millbrae with her husband of 35 years and has three grown children. She is a graduate of Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont. Over her lifetime, she has been involved in the community as a volunteer in formal and informal roles, including stints in PTA, Athletics Booster Club, and the Italian-American Women’s Guild, where she currently serves as the Chair of the Scholarship Committee.
Anne was elected to the Millbrae City Council in 2013 and is serving as Vice Mayor in 2015. Her top priorities are protecting public property rights, improving public safety, and revitalizing economic activity in Millbrae's commercial zones.
Anne is local coordinator for the Coats for Kids program. In addition to collecting hundreds of new and gently-used coats for kids each fall, she recently raised more than $2,000 at an auction event with realtors in the Northern zone of the county. After the San Bruno pipeline explosion and fire, she organized a neighborhood dinner for affected residents at a local restaurant. She has been on the Board of Directors for the SAMCAR Foundation (the organization’s charitable arm) for the last four years. She is a perennial volunteer in SAMCAR’s RSVP program to help local seniors. RSVP is an annual week-long community outreach program that takes place in May during “Adopt-A-Senior” Week. The program provides free assistance to qualified seniors who cannot otherwise perform certain household tasks due to physical or financial constraints. Chores include washing windows, changing furnace filters, turning over mattresses, vacuuming, changing light bulbs, replacing smoke detector batteries, and other similar tasks. In 2010, Anne was awarded SAMCAR’s Community Service Award for her work with RSVP, Coats for Kids, and the San Bruno disaster victims among other good works.
Anne has been an active member of local, state, and national real estate associations for many years. She has been on the SAMCAR Board of Directors for six years and served as its President in 2012.
